KOCHI: Malayalam superstar Mohanlal Sunday said it was a great thing to have Kochis representation in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
In a brief talk with mediapersons on the sidelines of a function here, Mohanlal said, It is a good thing to get a team in the IPL.
On Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoors remark that he and renowned film director Priyadarshan have pro-cricket mentality, Mohanlal said, Now since Kochi has a team in IPL, definitely we will support.
Priyadarshan and Mohanlal had earlier expressed interest in bidding for a team in IPL, but backed out at the last moment due to the introduction of some changes in the bidding process.
