PALAKKAD: The investigating team probing the death of Sampath, the main accused in the Sheela murder case, will reach Palakkad Thursday. A team led by S P Vijayan of crime branch in Kochi, is probing the case. The team will question the official probing the murder case and other officials of the north station.
So far, no action has been taken against the cops. The team will quiz Kanakaraj and Manikandan, remanded in the case.
The mistakes occurred by the police have been pointed out in the report of the special branch. The postmortem report of Sampath will be handed over to the home minister Thursday. Sampath died in police custody on Monday night.
