KOCHI: Tamil Aikya Sangam, in association with the Indian Medical Association (IMA), organised a blood donation camp at SN High School, Ayyappankavu, on Saturday. The programme was inaugurated by R.Sanarthanam, president, World Tamil Federation, Chennai.
L. Sappanimuthu, president of the Sangam, presided over the function. Special gifts were presented to the blood donors by Tamil Nadu Minister Pongalur Palanisamy. The blood donation camp was in connection with the World Tamil Semmozhi Conference to begin at Coimbatore on Wednesday. A.S. Babu welcomed the gathering and R. Raveendran proposed a vote of thanks.
