Passengers stage protest

KANNUR: Irate passengers who had reserved seats on trains that were diverted following a landslip in the Konkan route staged a protest at the railway station here in the evening. The passengers protested at the station on being informed that the trains were diverted following the landslip at Kankanadi in the Konkan route.

Station manager P. Rajan said the issue was settled after The passengers were refunded the train fare.
