KOCHI: Giving a boost to its phase two expansion, Infopark will set up a state-of-the-art BPO complex at an investment of Rs.200 crore over a period of three years.
Talking to The Hindu on Friday, Infopark Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Siddhartha Bhattacharya said the work on the BPO complex would begin later this year. He said the IT park at Cherthala being developed by Infopark under its hub and spoke model would be operational by December.
Mr. Bhattacharya said that 90 acres out of the 160 acres identified for the second phase expansion (at Puthencruz) had already been acquired and the rest would be acquired soon. �We will soon be submitting an application to declare 40 to 45 acres identified as Special Economic Zone, he said.
