KOCHI: A three-day National Judicial Academy South Zone Judicial Conference was inaugurated by Supreme Court Judge Cyriac Joseph on Friday.
Speaking at the conference, Justice Cyriac Joseph stressed the need for improving the performance of the judicial officers. He also said that the serving judges were criticised unnecessarily by retired judges.
The judicial officers should always have the urge to deliver justice on time. In fact, the attempt of the judicial officers must be to bring peace in society.
Presiding over the function, Chief Justice J. Chelameswar said that the judicial officers should work for delivering justice for all. They should be consistent in their rulings. Justice C.N. Ramachandran Nair, Justice Pius C. Kuriakose, Justice V. Ramkumar and Mohan Gopal, Director, National Judicial Academy spoke.
