KALPETTA: K.C. Sasidhar, chief manager, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), inaugurated �Nabard Vardhini, an innovative radio programme organised jointly by NABARD and Community Radio Mattoli, an initiative of the Wayanad Social Service Society, at Radio Mattoli Auditorium at Dwaraka, near Mananthavadi, on Wednesday.
Mar Jose Porunnedom, Bishop, Mananthavadi Dioceses, who is also the chairman of Community Radio Mattoli, presided.
The one-hour radio programme is aimed at creating awareness of farming practices, services of government, climate change adaptation, good governance and resource management.
The programme will be broadcast at 7.30 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. daily.
