THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: After the relative lull of the past few days the monsoon is likely to bring three-four days of good rainfall over Kerala from Thursday or Friday under the influence of a low pressure system expected to form in the Bay of Bengal close to the Bihar coast, according to the weather prediction models of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Director of the Thiruvananthapuram Meteorology Centre K. Santhosh on Tuesday said the expected low pressure system could intensify the monsoon flow from the southwest across the State during this period.
But the systems formation being very close to the Bihar coast, it might quickly enter the land and dissipate.
The evolving spell of rainfall might not be as intense as the one Kerala received in the middle of this month.
