I-League: We Will Fight Until The End - Viva Kerala Coach A.M.Sreedharan

Viva Keralas fortunes in the I-League have been inconsistent and coach A.M.Sreedharan opines that its primarily due to the fact that their conversion ratio from the chances they create is below par.

The statistics support what the coach mentions. Their goalscoring record is one of the lowest with 12 goals, second only to Shillong Lajong.

One thing which I can very honestly say that is my boys have been playing well. No matter whom and where we played, we gave our best. Yes, we are not getting the right result may be due to the strikers not scoring enough goals, said Sreedharan.

The southern club host league leaders Dempo and are desperately looking for a good result, which will help them avoid being in the danger zone.

We are playing the number one team. We need to capitalize on our home advantage. In the last match too against Salgaocar, we should have won, Sreedharan regretfully mentions.

Their cause isnt helped with Sakeer being suspended while Karma to be miss out due to an injury.

The doctor advised Karma at least seven days rest. I will have to try out some of the new players and hope that they can deliver whats required.
