KOCHI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA), probing the Kalamassery bus burning case, on Wednesday submitted before the CBI Special Court that Soofiya Madhani was the main conspirator in the case and should not be granted any relaxation of her bail conditions.
Soofiya had submitted a petition for relaxation of the bail condition that she should not leave Ernakulam district. Soofiya submitted that she wished to visit her sick mother and her husband Abdul Nasar Madhani, undergoing treatment at Thiruvananthapuram.
The NIA submitted that as Soofiya was highly influential any such relaxation would adversely affect the course of investigation.
