Samajwadi Party plea not to pass Women\'s Reservation Bill

Kottayam: Stating that scheduled castes and scheduled tribes would not get representation in the Womens Reservation Bill,Samajwadi Party Kerala unit president NO Kuttappan said the bill should not be passed in the present form.

The party had opposed the bill when it was submitted 14 years ago, Kuttappan told PTI here.

The bill will help only a few section of people who are socially and economically forward, he said.
