Kochi: A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court on Tuesday dismissed two writ petitions filed against the proposed construction of the boundary walls around the property belonging to the Naval Armament Depot (NAD) at Kalamassery.
The Bench comprising Chief Justice Chelameswar and Justice P.N. Ravindran while dismissing the petition observed that in the light of the prevailing security scenario and the NAD being a defence establishment, the plea of the petitioners could not be allowed.
The petitions were filed by the Kerala Prathikarana Vedi and Kalamassery Municipal councillor Mujeeb Rahman.
