THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kottarakkara-based Ashraya Charitable Society will organise the marriage of 140 girls from indigent families in the 140 Assembly constituencies in the State.
The marriages would take place at single venue at Thiruvananthapuram in the first week of November, Ashraya general convener Kalayapuram Jose and chief executive officer Gopinath Madhathil told a press conference organised here.
Each couple would be given Rs.50,000 in bank deposit and jobs in companies run by Ashraya patrons, besides money for marriage-related purchases, they said.
