Kudumbasree fairs from August 19

Kasaragod: The Kudumbasree Mission will set up 46 Onam fairs in the district with a view to providing quality products at cheaper rates to consumers.

The fairs will begin from August 19 to 23 at two centres at the municipal level, one in Kasaragod and the other in Kanhangad, an official release said here on Thursday.

Nileshwaram, Cheruvathur and Manjeshwaram will have one centre each at the block panchayat level, it said.

The Kudumbasree products marketed at the fairs included curry powder, pickles, vegetables, sanitary wares, honey, cashew nuts and host of other consumer products, it said.
