Seminar on �re-reading\' the works of poet

KOCHI: A two-day seminar on �re-reading the works of poet G. Sankarakurup organised by the Ernakulam cluster of colleges began at the Maharajas College here on Tuesday.

S. Rajasekharan, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, inaugurated the programme.

In his keynote address on the occasion, Dr. Rajasekharan said that G. Sankarakurup was able to map the nuances of nature through his immortal works.

He could also effectively capture the myriad moods of the ecology in his poems, Dr. Rajasekharan said.
