KOCHI: The suspension of one of the two employees of Greater Cochin Development Authority (GCDA) was revoked by the chairperson of the GCDA, .M.C. Josephine.
S. Vijayakumar, Estate Officer and A. Imamin Mubin, Section Assistant/Section Officer were suspended from duty with effect from July 31, in connection with the allegation of improper sale of a five-cent plot owned by the Authority in the city.
During the inquiry it was found that Mr. Mubin had assumed charge at the section concerned only on April 3, 2010, and the controversial transaction occurred before that. Following this, his suspension was revoked, said a press release issued by M.C. Josephine.
